TYT: Why defenders of Obama and the NDAA are wrong

President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act, a decision being defended by some partisan Democrats. The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks down specifics in the bill to refute the claims made by the defenders of Obama and the NDAA.

If it makes any difference, Cenk graduated from Columbia Law School and worked for Drinker Biddle & Reath in D.C. and Hayes & Liebman in NYC.

I’m sure you folks have noticed that I have been posting on the NDAA from both sides.  That’s because there are valid points being made by both sides.  The legislation gives me the willies, but at the same time, I support my husband receiving his paycheck since, due to the fuckery that is the GOP, we currently have one source of income.  And so I will say it again.  What we need here is a line-item veto!

Yes to the fact that this situation is very complicated. Though I think ‘the willies’ is a much weaker expression than I’d probably use.
